Warp (Terminal)
MCP servers expose data sources or tools to Warp's Agent Mode through a standardized interface, acting like plugins that extend the Agent's capabilities. This feature allows users to add two types of servers: CLI-based servers that Warp manages automatically, and URL-based servers that connect to existing endpoints. MCP servers are synced to Warp Drive in the cloud (including environment variables) and can be configured to start automatically when Warp launches, making them particularly valuable for developers who need specialized tools and data sources accessible directly through natural language interactions in the terminal.
